Herb Gardening in a Small Space!

I have one spot for my herbs and this is poolside.  Since I spend most of my time in this yard during the high heat of summer… it is convenient.  I jump in the pool to cool off before making dinner and on my way back in… I snag some fresh herbs for added spice to my cooking! 

Here I have basil, spicey oregano, pinapple sage, curly parsley and even a squash plant!  For added flare, I have a baby’s breath plant in the center.  The “hedge” around the garden is provided by lemon balm… that has reseeded itself EVERYWHERE! 

When I ran out of space in my limited kitchen garden… I got a bit creative and put my pepper plant in a container at the foot of the stairs to the deck.  Still convenient!
