Art as Function!

Now these birthday gifts are ones I intend to keep in my line of sight for many years to come… these watering bulbs are called “Aqua Globes” and basically they are handblown glass.  I fell in love with this art form on my first trip to Bermuda when Mom and I visited a glass blowing studio there.  Well, in combining my love for blown glass and my love of gardening, a good friend decided I should have these.  Seeing them ar work is quite amazing.  As soil dries it releases oxegyn into the globe and the globe releases the same amount of water into the soil.  Easy!  Thanks Chickie!!
